Kris Knochelmann* and Schneller

My name is Kris Knochelmann*, and I'm the proud new owner of Schneller Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing. I will commit to you that if you are ever unhappy with our service, You Won't Pay! We will work daily to carry on the high level of service Schneller has delivered for over 80 years. My family has also been in the business for many years, and I learned the value of great customer service from my father, John Knochelmann* Sr.

 
John Knochelmann*, Sr., is the patriarch of the family and started in the business with his brothers Richard and David in 1968, serving the Ft. Thomas area doing primarily plumbing work. (He is in his 80s now and living in Crescent Springs, KY.)
John Knochelmann* expanded into heating and cooling and grew the business for three decades based on a combination of quality workmanship and excellent customer service. When he decided to retire in 1991, he sold the majority of the business to his three sons and his son-in-law who were working in the company: Kris, John Jr., and Pete Knochelmann* and Ric Bowen.

I worked at the family business for many years handling marketing, sales, accounting, and service management. As a part-owner, we sold the family business in 1997. I learned a lot in my 13 years as General Manager, and was exposed to many opportunities and people I'll never forget.

In 2011, my position was eliminated, and I chose to move to another opportunity. Through a friend at church, that opportunity revealed itself in the form of Schneller Heating and Cooling. The current owners were looking for a buyer, and I was looking for a place to call home and grow with my family. Rudy Schneller and his wife Jean were the original founders and started the business out of their basement. They used the family sedan to run calls until they could purchase their first truck. He built his business under the same values instilled in me by my father: respect for quality work, customer relationships, high integrity, and building something that you are proud to put your name on.

As I look to the future, the new Schneller Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing will continue to operate under the same principles established by Rudy Schneller and my father John Knochelmann* Sr. My brothers John, Jr. and Pete have joined the company, as well as numerous nephews and others. I'm committed to the highest quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and treating our customers like family. We answer our own phones and don't believe in pressure selling.
