Meet the Knochelmanns – John Knochelmann, Jr.
John Knochelmann Jr. was born in 1959, in Cincinnati, OH. He is one of nine – he has four brothers and four sisters. He attended St. Anthony and Covington Catholic High School. When attending Covington Catholic, John was an aspiring artist and even won a national art award. After high school he went on to attend Northern Kentucky University for a year studying graphic design.
In 1977, John decided to join his family in working for his father, John Knochelmann Sr in the plumbing, heating and cooling industry. After more than 40 years John has been in every aspect of the business from office personnel to both the plumbing and HVAC fields where he now holds a Comfort Consultant position in HVAC. He has been able to use his artistic ability to create unique designs in bathroom remodels as well as designing heating and cooling systems for customer’s homes. Throughout his career, John has accomplished so much, even obtaining his master’s plumbing license and a boiler’s license. John is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work so that it is sure to have John Knochelmann Sr.’s stamp of approval!
John now resides in Covington, KY. He is married to Lori, has four children, and five grandchildren. In his spare time, his hobbies include spending time with his family, wood working and camping. He also enjoys music and looks forward to his regular jam sessions with family members and childhood friends. In the next couple of years John would like to plan a camping trip out west to see Glacier National Park.
