Dick Scott Plumbing is celebrating its 50-year anniversary this year. The company was founded by Dick Scott in 1966, purchasing what once was the Padur Plumbing Co.
Dick Scott Plumbing has been serving the needs of Greater Cincinnati from its offices in Sedamsville in West Cincinnati since the beginning. Dick had a long history of not only providing top quality plumbing service, sewer cleaning, and bathroom remodeling, but also contributing to the community nearby. Dick had a long history of support of Elder High School and its football program in particular.
Dick became acquainted with Kris Knochelmann, owner of Schneller Plumbing, Heating & Air when Kris was just 16 years old. Through the years, Kris kept in touch with Dick and as years went by, Dick agreed to sell the assets of his company to Kris at Schneller and this would allow for his legacy to live on in serving the plumbing needs of the community. Dick Scott Plumbing is now able to serve its thousands of customers with heating and air conditioning services.
From furnace and air conditioner tune-ups, new equipment installations, and indoor air quality products, the combined companies now have over 35 team members to serve the community.
Sadly, Dick passed away in early 2016 while on a retreat doing what he did his entire life. Constantly working to become better and give back. That goal will continue as Dick Scott Plumbing continues into the future as part of the Schneller family.
Owned by Kris Knochelmann, we promise to maintain the same quality workmanship and friendliness from our technicians. We promise to always treat your home with respect and offer fair and up-front pricing.
The month of October brings a whole lot of festivity and fun to our Cincinnati neighborhoods for sure. Within weeks we’ll have ghosts, ghouls, goblins—the whole gang will be back in town! […]
